The four piece Prague's band has recieved attention from the very beginning of its existence. SPORTO mix electro, pop and post punk into a specific original sound while remaining faithful to the principles of DIY. The band that believes in cooperation and prolificness releases their albums free on the Internet "It doesn't matter what kind of music you wanna do, there's no reason and mainly nothing to wait for. Stop thinking how to do it. Just take the instruments and computers, learn as you go and lets make things moving!" In relative short time of its existence, SPORTO released two Eps Friday is Techno (Starcastic, 2007) and Honey Sold Out (Starcastic, 2008), vinyl singel Aran Epochal / Sporto – Split (Silver Rocket/Starcastic, 2008), two regular albums One Minute Cardinal (Starcastic, 2007 – released in the limited version inside the mp3 player) and finally the current album More (Starcastic/Deadred, 2009).
